Liminal Layers

Liminal Layers explores decomposition and renewal. Using locally sourced wool and meditative processes- Washing, carding, spinning and knitting- to honor natures cycles. Through earthy tactile forms, this work investigates the act of burying a body in ways that honor the environment and minimise damage. It aims to create vessels for natural burial that reflect healing and introspection.

The aim is to connect and adapt the shrouding vessels to personal interpretation based on foliage and soil.
